I am BUMPING this post, by talking about stuff I'm working on!
Today is a slow day, I'm waiting on deliveries to my apartment that an "adult" has to "be present for", so I'm just occupying my time. That means I'm working on a low-stakes things that can be picked up and put down easily, just in case I hear the knock at the door. One of those things could be considered "art": my website!
I've basically always wanted Implausibly Average to have a website. Just a place you could go to that would organize everything, even if it didn't host everything. I make YouTube videos, and I write rambling blog posts, and I would like to make podcasts again, and all of that should "live" somewhere, even if it's just linking to a bunch of different things. Basically, a place you could bookmark and check on weekly to go "hey, I wonder what Josh Average and the Implausibly Average Crew are up to" and easily get updates.
So far, I think that's working! I've got
ImplausiblyAverage.Online up and running right now. It's just a WordPress blog at the moment, but it's got everything I could need for the absolute basics! I even setup a
IFTTT applet that automatically pulls YouTube videos posted to the Implausibly Average YouTube channel and makes blog posts for it. It can't pull the thumbnail of the video into the post as the "featured image", but that's fine. As long as the post is made, I can always go in and make that change on my own.
Oh, I also made a cool "About Us" page that explains what Implausibly Average is and who we (I) are (am). I think it looks cool,
so check it out?
